Approval is the key mark of quality assurance.
Ansell Lighting has achieved LIA 003 laboratory certification for its Warrington-based luminaire test facilities.
The laboratory is one of six UK laboratories to have achieved accreditation, allowing Ansell to internally validate the quality and performance of its new and existing products.
The LIA’s seal of approval follows an investment of £ x in a state-of-the-art goniophotometer, the Gonio Tunnel, for the lab. This allows Ansell to test components, new product design prototypes and existing products, to ensure full accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Brightness tests performed using the Gonio tunnel can also be cross-checked and verified by the LIA as additional quality assurance.

LIA laboratory certification applies to all LED lamps for display, hobby, commerce, industry, lighting, emergency lighting and smart lighting.
