About the role
We are looking for a marketer with a passion for water and the development/deployment of marketing assets to position SwimOutlet and Sporti as leading aquatic brands. This position will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be a critical interface with cross-functional teams across the organization.
The Marketing Specialist will support the Director of Marketing in developing Go-To-Marketing + Content strategies for Sporti, as well as email and SMS digital marketing assets for SwimOutlet.com and Sporti. Knowledge of digital marketing, product marketing and competitive swimming are key to success for this position.

What will you do
-Assist the Marketing Director in the development and management of the email + SMS calendar
-Coordinate all aspects of email marketing + SMS campaigns: submission of briefs, project management, internal creative review, SL/PH copywriting, testing and deployment
– Own creation and distribution of weekly summary reports on email and SMS performance
-Support the end-to-end product go-to-market process with the product team and marketing director by developing Go-To-Market + content strategies for Sporti (trimming, packaging, digital content)
– Support the go-to-market process by developing product names, color names, feature icons/copy and product descriptions
-Own PDP content strategy: selection and upload of ecomm images, alternative lifestyle images, videos, etc.
-Assist the Marketing Director with creating shot lists and assisting with photo shoots
– Identify opportunities for new landing pages, collection pages and other related web content
-Work cross-functionally with social media and content teams on the development of blogs, product guides and product comparison content
-Generate weekly reports to analyze and identify sales opportunities across inventory leveraging other digital marketing channels (organic social media, paid media, email).
-Develop and deploy new Amazon A+ content
What you bring to the role
– Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, creative writing or English-related fields preferred.
– Have exceptional writing and storytelling skills in multiple mediums
-3+ years of related experience in digital content development
-Excellent oral and written communication skills
-Have a strong education, training and experience in digital marketing
-Have strong content management skills with a balanced understanding of marketing programs
-Must have experience planning and executing marketing programs.
-Candidates with experience in ESP are a plus
– Experience working within content management systems (CMS) and comfort in integrating content and other web assets related to these tools is a plus
-Be a fast, flexible and efficient problem solver
– Be proactive and autonomous
-Be able to think outside the box and see the big picture
– Must be comfortable managing multiple projects and deliverables at once
-Attention to detail without sacrificing deadlines and the ability to execute projects from start to finish
– Demonstrate the ability to work quickly and efficiently with Google Docs Suite, Google -Slides/Powerpoint/Keynote and Excel
– Understanding of numerical metrics and KPIs
-Training in competitive swimming is a plus!
