MeitYStartup Hub (MSH), an initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and Informatics (MeitY) to promote technological innovation, start-ups and the creation of intellectual property, has partnered with India Accelerator, the ‘one of the start-up accelerators of its flagship SOMA program.

The collaboration will support deep-tech startups, from proof of concept to product development and pursuit of adventure by helping them on aspects such as best practices, fundraising, go-to-market. , sharing of knowledge / technical know-how, etc.

Mr. Ashish Bhatia, Founder of India Accelerator, said: “We understand that the requirements of Deep Tech startups are unique and feel a strong need for a specialized platform, a platform that Deep Tech entrepreneurs could leverage. in order to rapidly develop advanced technologies and in their active commercialization. With Soma, we want to evoke this special ecosystem and make it a game changer for deep tech startups. “

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the Indian government leads and facilitates a range of innovation and IPR related activities across the country for the expansion of this ecosystem.

Jitendra Vijay, CEO of MSH, welcoming MSH’s strategic alliance with India Accelerator, said: “By partnering with India Accelerator, MSH plans to create a conducive start-up ecosystem to foster innovation capabilities. tech start-ups and help them turn their innovation ideas into scalable solutions.

In order to facilitate MeitY’s vision of promoting technological innovation, start-ups and the creation of intellectual property, a nodal entity called “MeitY Start-up Hub” (MSH) has been set up under its aegis.

MSH will act as a national coordination, animation and monitoring center that will integrate all of MeitY’s incubation centers, start-ups and innovation-related activities.
