Peyush Bansal Shares Update on ‘Jugaadu Kamlesh’ Hand-Drawn Cart; ‘Launch of a design and validation process by the consumer


Remember “Jugaadu Kamlesh” aka Kamlesh Nanasaheb Ghumare, a contestant from Shark Tank India, who with his honesty, hard work and vision captured the hearts of the show. Yeah, we’re talking about that hard-working Kamlesh, of which each location made everyone emotional. A young Maharashtra-based entrepreneur’s pitch of a hand-pulled cart became one of the highlights of the show and it was tagged as the ‘Pitch Of The Season’. Kamlesh’s motive behind the product was to help poor farmers in their daily activities, his intentions not only won millions of hearts but also impressed Peyush Bansal.

The show ended long before, but many people want to know what Kamlesh has been up to these days. Now, Lenskart CEO and Founder Peyush Bansal has shared an important update related to him and also revealed what it would take to make his cart more functional. Peyush took to his Instagram handle and shared a post answering all questions related to Jugaadu Kamlesh.

He wrote, “Everyone I meet these days has a question…what is the update on Kamlesh from @sharktank.india? Although I don’t believe there are things to talk about as long as we haven’t achieved anything, due to popular demand…here’s a quick update…we’ve started a design and consumer validation process of the cart with the help of a team of professional industrial designers.The design team visited Malegaon and nearby farms, spent time with different farmers and different cultures.

Not only that, but Bansal also shared the concerns associated with the product and the steps to follow in the process. He went on to write, “Next steps: find creative solutions to these problems, make design optimizations, and go back and test again. Some photos attached.
